After graduated from Beijing Dance Academy and was employed by Beijing Dance Academy with honors as a ballet teacher. In 1970, she served as the main performer and ballet instructor of the Central Ballet. In 1980, she returned to Hong Kong, where she was born, and founded the “Ballet Classroom of the Blue Sky Club”. During that time, she served as a ballet instructor in the Hong Kong Dance Company, the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, and the Hong Kong Youth Dance Company.
